Nice album- No real complaints-West Coast lp with an East Coast feel..

A dope album..This group puts the bay on the map and brings San Jose into focus... Their album lives up to its name Self Preservation as they seem to do the job of perserving Hip Hop... The album has a decidely East Coast feel as opposed to what one would normally expect from the West Coast.. These guys have good mic skillz and cool beats.. Their subject matter wasn't to varied.. Standout tracks include 'Esoteric' which is a bboyish sounding cut. Another groove is the piano ladden '084'. Not a bad buy...
