Da Brat's album 'Anuthatantrum' is just ok.. I'm not too impressed.. Her rap style doesn't change up to much.. The beats are mediocre and I'm tired of her constant cursing... Da Brat has a lot of talent but for some reason just doesn't seem to live up to her potential.. The only real standout cut on this lp is her current single 'Sitting On Top Of The World'. Ratings=C

A cool ep for the die hard De La Soul fan.. . It an ep of remixes of tracks off the Stakes Is High ep... and a couple of new cuts for your listening pleasure. For example there's a new lp version of the song Baby Baby Bay.. which incorporates the beat from Malcolm McClaren's Buffalo Gals. It's unfortunate that people are overlooking them and not really catchin' onto what they're all about...Nice beats more along the jazz side.. although a couple of tracks do have some bump...like the 'spinna' clean remix to 'Stakes Is High' Check out tracks like Sweet Dreams which is a hip hop remake of the Eurymthic classic...
