It looks like the Simmons clan are on a roll and just won't stop. First we have big brother Russell Simmons. He has just released his autobiography "Russell Simmons, Life and Def: Sex, Drugs, Money and God". The book has thus far been well recieved. Now Universal Pictures along with Misher Films have stepped up and acquired the movie rights to the book. When the movie project is completed it will be the second film that chronicles Russell's life. The first one was the classic flick 'Krush Groove'.

So while Russell is blowing up on the silver screen, his little brother Rev Run [Joesph Simmons] along with partners DMC and Jam Master Jay are being honored in Hollywood later this week [Feb 25 at 11am]. They will get a star and leave their hand prints in the sidewalk on Hollywood Boulevard near the Mann's Chinese Theater. Thats major considering all the movie stars and other greats who have been bestowed this honor. I'm not sure if Run DMC are the first rappers to be honored on the walk of fame. Will Smith and Hammer may have been already honored. I will have to check on that.. In the meantime keep in mind, once Run DMC are immortalized on the famous sidewalk, they will give new meaning to the song 'Walk This Way'.
