 Coolio stands ready to fill Bob Hope's shoes as the chief showman for US troops abroad. For those who don't know Coolio for the past 6 years has toured with the USO entertaining troops and helping co-ordinate events. He's been to far off places like Korea, Kuwait and Bahrain. He also noted he's willing and ready to go to Iraq.
In a recent interview with the NY Daily News, he stated that he would feel slighted if he was bypassed for the head position. "Of all the celebrities they contact, I am the one who is always there for them," he said. When asked about his feelings of going to Iraq, He noted "I would be nervous as hell, but I am not afraid," he adds. "Maybe if they gave me my own tank to ride around in instead of a car, I would feel more comfortable." |
